Mix chicken thoroughly with garlic and yogurt. Cover, marinate overnight in frig. Heat oil and fry onion until golden. Set aside. In same oil fry coriander, pepper, allspice and turmeric for 15 sec and add the chicken and marinade. Adjust heat to med high and fry chicken 5-6 min. Add cayenne, water, salt & fried onion. Bring to a boil, cover the pan and simmer about 30 min. Stir in ground almonds and remove from heat. Serves 4 to 6.
